Hildenborough Village Preservation Association (HVPA)
Hildenborough Village Preservation Association (HVPA) was originally formed in 1973 as a spontaneous reaction to a proposed massive development at Hilden Farm. Since then, the HVPA has successfully opposed subsequent large development proposals on that site and at various other locations around the village.
Central to the Association's purpose is the maintenance of the Green Belt and the continuing preservation of Hildenborough as an individual residential community. This means supporting our Parish Council and making our own independent contribution to the local planning process in respect of larger scale developments.
Joining the HVPA: The annual subscription is currently £1.00 per household (50p for a single occupant). Details of our activities are reported periodically in the Parish Magazine "Keys", and at our A.G.M. held in Hildenborough Village Hall in July.
If you wish to support our aims so that the HVPA can remain strong and vigilant in the future, please contact one of the following:
Chairman ... David Vanns ... Tel. 01732 834406
Secretary ... Molly Brewer ... Tel: 01732 832110
